Establishment Day Nov 19 2019

19th Nov, is a memorable day in the history of Apostolic Carmel congregation as it was on this day in 1870, that the seed of Apostolic Carmel planted at Bayonne. France by Mother Veronica was transplanted in Mangalore, India.
    
19th November 2019 in the beginning of the 150th year of the Apostolic Carmel in India. This was made possible only through the pioneering efforts of Sisters Mother Marie Des Anges, Mother Elias and Sister Mary Joseph under the guidance of our Venerable Foundress, Mother Veronica of the Passion.
    
The day began with the celebration of the Holy Eucharist offered by Rev. Fr. Patrick Pinto. The entrance procession was led by 35 Carmel Blossoms carrying lighted candles under the guidance of Sr. Marina. Fr. In his homily entreated the students to imbibe the virtues of Mother Veronica – love, obedience and sacrifice.
    
This was followed by a vibrant cultural programme put up by the students of STD V having a beautiful blend of music, dance and drama in equal measure. The programme began with a prayer service followed began with a prayer service followed by various entertainment programmes depicting the life of Mother Veronica and her divine call, the setting up of the Apostolic Carmel Congregation in Mangalore by the Sisters Mother Marie Des Anges, Mother Elias and Sister Mary Joseph with the sole intention of educating girls.
    
Sr. Rosevera, our principal in her message extolled the virtues of Mother Veronica and encouraged students to follow her path.
