Its always the little breaks in between the studies that are the most relieving and relaxing. As part of outsource activity, a recreational picnic was organised for the students of std 10 to Club Cabana.

The students reported to school at 7:00 am. After taking attendance, the class teachers - Mrs. Sujatha and Bindu Shaji, along with Sr. Rosevera, the school principal, Sr. Vinitha, the vice-principal, teachers, Mrs. Enid and Mrs. Josephine accompanied the students to the luxury AC buses. The yellow buses, fully packed with 84 students and teachers, headed for the water park.

All the students kept playing songs and dancing in the bus till they reached the venue.

We reached Club Cabana by 9.00a.m., and after the welcome dink, were served a scrumptious breakfast of Idli, Vada, Sambhar, Chutney ,Upma and Kesari bath.

Without wasting a moment, students changed their dress and jumped into the pool with excitement. The lazy pool, the wave pool, and the bucket rain kept them on their toes. They jumped, rolled, dipped into the water, slided and splashed water all over.

A delicious lunch of fried rice, noodles, Gobi manchurian and curd rice were served at 1:00 pm, followed by ice cream and gulab jamun. They jumped back into the wave pool and danced their hearts out.

Students showered and changed into their uniform and assembled to have juice and tea cakes, following which they were taken back to their respective buses.
The return journey to school was filled with laughter, song and dance. The buses reached the school by 7:10 pm .

It was really great to see children having a wonderful time on this trip, which might probably be the last trip they would take together, for most of them.

Nonetheless, we hope and pray that they stay happy and overcome all the hurdles in their life with a positive attitude and a smile on their face.
