Under the glistening sun and the pleasant evening breeze, the grounds of Mary Immaculate School reverberated with shouts of joy and happiness as the Annual Day Celebration was held on 21st and 22nd December 2024 .

21st December was dedicated to the parents and students from LKG to Grade 4.

The Chief Guest of the day Dr. Vinu Raj , MBBS MRCS FRCS, accompanied by Sr. Celine Vera, Joint Secretary of Mary Immaculate Institutions, Sr Rosevera, the principal, Sr. Sevika, headmistress Mary Immaculate High School and Sr. Clare the school administrator was led by the resounding school band. The programme commenced with a beautiful ethereal prayer dance. Sr. Rosevera welcomed the august gathering and the guest of the day Dr. Vinu Raj was introduced by Sr. Bedsy.

Our students swooned the crowd with foot tapping performance and instilled the seeds of moral values, conservation of nature, importance of saying "no" to non-bio degradable products and to respect each individual's uniqueness. The scene of nativity was beautifully enacted by the students and programme ended with the students singing the school anthem with full gusto.

Dr. Vinu Raj, in his message appreciated the little ones for their power packed performance and for exhibiting their social causes through their performance. He expressed the importance of having nutritious food on time for the healthy growth of a child.

The emcees for the day were Safia, Azmi, Ameya, Jenitta and Ojal

Vote of thanks was proposed by Sweeny, Siyona and Esha

22nd December was dedicated to the parents and students of Std 5 to Std 10.

The Chief Guest of the day, Mr. P K Srihari, IRS Former Principal Commissioner Income Tax Department, along with Sr Celine Vera, Joint Secretary of Mary Immaculate Institutions, Sr Rosevera, the principal, Sr Sevika, headmistress Mary Immaculate High School and Sr Clare, the school administrator was led by the robust school band.

The programme began on a high note with an invocation of prayer led in mellifluous melody by the school choir followed by a welcome dance. Sr. Rosevera in her opening note welcomed the lovely gathering of the day and Mr. P K Srihari, the guest of the day was introduced to the parents and well wishers by Sr. Vinitha.

Middle School students performed on the theme "Nature : A Ray Of Hope" depicting the harmonious existence of the five elements in the cosmos, human interference and destruction and rejuvenation of nature to save mankind.

"Women : A Ray Of Hope " was the theme dedicated by the High School students. It depicted the role of women as the backbone of a healthy family, society and country. The life of Venerable Mother Veronica drove into the hearts and minds of the crowd the visionary mission of our school. Nativity scene through a stick light dance followed by a medley of carols took the breath away. The icing on the celebration was the song dedicated to world peace in complete darkness with students holding candles and parents with their mobile torches on.

The Chief Guest in his message applauded the students, teachers and management for their relentless efforts in putting up a stunning programme and for the wonderful theme chosen. He encouraged the students to be focused in their studies and to devote their lives fir the greater good of the society and country.

The emcees of the day were Afifa, Thanushree, Sadiya Anjum, Dhyuthii, Haripriya and Safaa. Harshita S, the School Head Girl proposed the vote of thanks
