28th September was a day to cherish as our school was blessed by the visit of the Superior General of Apostolic Carmel Congregation, Sr Maria Nirmalini A.C

Sr. Nirmalini was accorded a warm traditional Karnataka style welcome with a jasmine garland, sandalwood paste and gracious steps followed by a multilingual welcome song.

The teachers' choir led by Sr. Vineeta invoked God's blessings through a melodious prayer song. Sr. Celine Vera , the Joint Secretary of Mary Immaculate welcomed and gave a propitious introduction of Sr. Maria Nirmalini while Mrs. Shwetha welcomed her with a floral tribute.

Mrs. Monica and Mrs Lucia introduced the staff of Mary Immaculate Institutions and the role played by teachers as a gardener who takes care of the plant from its seed stage , nourishing it with the right amount of love , patience and reprimand.

The Superior General, Sr. Maria Nirmalini in her message appreciated the teachers for taking the call of a noble profession. She motivated the teachers to think out of the box by going beyond the knowledge of the subject. Sr. in her message, emphasized the need to strengthen the inter personal bond with students, parents, colleagues and benefactors for the cumulative growth of the child and the institution.

Mrs. Manjula proposed the vote of thanks. The entire programme was compered by Mrs. Bindu Shaji. The day ended with photo sessions and light refreshment.
